Stella and the Space Bears started off as an idea from an illustration by Dilara Arin. She liked the thought of a cosmonaut finding three bears (Her favourite animals) in space so much, she decided to use it in a story. Within a few months, the story developed and began taking shape and within a year, the book was completed with all the illustrations. Finally, by bringing creative names from different walks of life, together – Harriet Kemsley for narration, Atakan Kundak for music and Douglas Fayers for sound design – the book was made into an app for a truly special experience.
